In the recipe, soaked kala chana is sauteed in a flavourful mix of spices such as cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli, coriander powder, bay leaves and turmeric along with onion and tomato paste. It is then pressure cooked till the chana is done and served hot garnished with coriander leaves.
