The year 2021 is finally drawing to a close. After a pandemic-wrought 2020, 2021 was all about the COVID vaccine and how people resumed normal lives. During this time, frontline workers such as delivery persons and healthcare professionals did their best to provide for our needs. Many people have expressed their appreciation and gratitude for their tireless work through random acts of kindness. In one such recent incident, school students in Brazil surprised their cafeteria workers with a huge gift basket. The video was shared on Twitter and received much appreciation from users. The video was shared on Twitter by the handle @GoodNewsCorres1, and it has received over 54k views and hundreds of likes and comments. "LET'S CHANGE THE WORLD WITH KINDNESS! Group of students in Brazil surprise their cafeteria worker at school with a gift basket in appreciation of her hard work & kindness," read the caption to the tweet.
In the short 40-second clip, we could see a couple of girl students going towards a lady wearing a uniform. She was asked to cover her eyes and that's when they gave her the gift basket full of yummy goodies for the holiday season. She burst into tears as the moment was completely overwhelming for her. The girls hugged her and cheered for her too.
Twitter users were all praise for the thoughtful gesture. The act of kindness came right in time for Christmas and indeed touched the hearts of Twitterati.
