Using leftover ingredients to make something unique has been a common strategy to free up space in the refrigerator. From making a delicious sandwich using leftover aloo sabzi to preparing fried rice by mixing leftover steamed rice with some vegetables, we have done it all. While it is usually our mothers who churn out ideas to make use of leftover food, a person chose to take some help from the viral chatbot - ChatGPT. He asked the AI-powered chatbot for a recipe to make using certain leftover ingredients and received a step-by-step guide.

The viral video was shared on Instagram by @onlyshubhamjoshi. The video begins with a man asking ChatGPT, “What can I make with potato, tomato, onion, spices, bread, cheese, salt, pepper, and milk?” The chatbot instantly delivers the answer and suggests a dish called “cheesy potato and vegetable bake” or “potato and vegetable gratin”. Take a look at the video here:
Not only this, but ChatGPT also offered a guide on the whole process to make the dish. The person then begins with the recipe by preheating the oven and slicing some potatoes. He layers the potato slices in a baking tray along with onion, tomato and also sprinkles some salt, pepper, and spices on top. He also pours some milk over the vegetables and adds grated cheese. After this, he tops it with crumbled bread pieces and allows it to cook in the oven.
At the end of the clip, the man tastes the cheesy dish made using instructions given by the chatbot. In no time, the clip collected over 4 million views on the platform and prompted many users to react. One user suggested that the person did not need the chatbot, “Should have asked your grandma,” a comment read.
Another user said, “If this is given to a robot they will make it according to instructions. Humans now need to be more innovative and prove to AI."
One user suggested, “Try to add condition, no electricity and gas. Then see the results”.
