What to do when your favourite fast-food restaurant is not accepting takeaway orders anymore and you are craving their food badly? Take cues from this Bengaluru man who found a clever solution. Caleb Friesen got a sudden craving for McDonald's at midnight and drove to an eatery in the Koramangala area. But he reached a little late as the outlet has just shut and stopped taking orders. However, he noticed a bunch of food delivery agents outside the pick-up window still waiting for online food orders left to be delivered. He instantly came up with an idea to get some food for himself too and impressed us all.
Caleb Friesen ordered food from McDonald's on Swiggy food delivery app and selected the same McDonald's eatery as the delivery location! He just had to wait for 10 seconds to get his food from the pick-up window of the eatery he was already present. It's probably less time than it would have taken to get his order had he ordered personally at the restaurant. Smart thinking, we must admit.

Friesen took to Twitter to share this unusual incident and wrote, "Drove to Koramangala for midnight McDonald's, they said they were closed, but the pick-up window was full of delivery guys. What to do? I ordered Swiggy from McDonald's to McDonald's. 10-second delivery achieved." He posted a video showing the food delivery agent grinning as he picked up the order, and took about 10 steps to deliver it. He revealed this was the shortest food delivery he ever did."
