Wallace Wong, aka "Six Pack Chef," has set a new Guinness World Record for the most tomatoes cut in one minute. The Canadian chef achieved this feat on June 12 in London, chopping an impressive 9 tomatoes in just 60 seconds. A video posted on the Guinness World Records Instagram page shows a blindfolded Mr. Wong chopping tomatoes with incredible speed and precision. The Guinness World Records administrator closely monitored and counted each tomato as Mr. Wong cut them, verifying the record-breaking achievement. The Guinness World Records page proudly announced the new record, stating, "Most tomatoes cut in one minute while blindfolded: 9 by Wallace Wong, aka 'Six Pack Chef'." Watch the video here:

However, the internet is not impressed by this feat. A user claimed, "Local chefs in India are way faster and will chop more finely than this." Another echoed a similar sentiment, suggesting that Guinness World Records should be more selective with their uploads: "Hey Guinness, you don't need to upload every day to keep your thing special. I know 10 shawarma chefs who do it in 1/4 of the time." "Even my mother does better than this," read another comment.

A few said that they were not at all "impressed." The criticism didn't stop there, with a user jokingly inviting Mr. Wong to "come to India" to see real tomato-chopping skills, while another stated that even they were "better than him." This was not the only record Wallace Wong attempted that day. He went on to set an even more remarkable record, cutting 14 tomatoes in one minute, but not with a blindfold this time.
Meanwhile, the record for the most tomatoes eaten in one minute was set by Leah Shutkever, who ate a total of 8 tomatoes on June 13, 2020.
