What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of honey? For most of us, it is a golden and sweet nectar. Almost every food that we eat has different varieties available around the world. And some species can be quite rare and unknown as well. Recently, a picture has gone viral which features a jar of purple honey. Yes, you heard it right. In the photo, uploaded on Twitter, a jar full of honey is placed on a slab. As sunlight passes through the jar, it is seen that the honey has a shade of purple instead of the usual golden. For comparison, we see another jar placed there which has ordinary golden-coloured honey.
