Gwyneth Paltrow often gives fans a peek into her morning routine through her Instagram breakfast series, where she shares simple meals and recipes she prepares at home. The actress and Goop founder's latest breakfast creation puts an Indian favourite in the spotlight: savoury chilla served with eggs and mint chutney.
In the video, Paltrow begins by preparing a chilla batter using besan (ground chickpea flour) and a mix of spices. She then adds chopped onions, tomatoes and grated ginger before whisking everything together. Once the batter is ready, she moves to the stove to cook the chillas.

After preheating a pan, she pours two ladlefuls of batter onto it and cooks the chillas until done. At the same time, she prepares eggs in a separate non-stick pan, cracking three eggs into it and cooking them with a little water.
For serving, Paltrow plates the freshly cooked chillas alongside some leftover short ribs from the previous night. After taking the eggs off the pan, she tops them with a spoonful of green mint chutney and enjoys the hearty breakfast.
Sharing the video on Instagram, she wrote, "Mint chutney eggs and savory Indian chilla pancakes with last nights leftover short ribs #boyfriendbreakfast."
