Mc Donalds's fans rejoice. The fast-food chain, known for its burgers, ice-creams, shakes, fries, wraps and more has now launched a value meal that will allow you to enjoy your favourite burger, a small snack and a drink at a nominal price. The '3-piece meal' will start at Rs. 99 only. The prices will vary according to the burgers you choose. The meals feature a choice of burgers McDonald's favourites like McAloo Tikki or McEgg, or popular classics such as Chicken McGrill, McVeggie or McChicken, along with fries and coke. The offer includes a small cola beverage and small fries, making it an ideal meal for one. The 3 Piece Meal has been introduced across outlets situated in North and East India and is available only for a limited time. If you cannot make it to the store in the time of pandemic, no problem- the discounted meal can be availed through delivery, drive-thru and take-aways too.

The pandemic may have brought the F&B sector to a standstill, but restaurants are trying their best to thrive. Additionally, many restaurants are also making news for their philanthropic ventures. Recently, Mc Donald's announced a vaccination-drive for its employees. Top restaurants like Social, Saltwater Cafe; and Smoke House Deli have partnered with the dabbawallas of Mumbai for delivery services. Another humanitarian gesture which was also lauded by social media was restaurateur Zorawar Kalra's offer to the government to use his restaurants as Vaccination sites. Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor has also tied up with the Taj group to provide free meals to the healthcare workers of seven cities.
