Remember Instagram influencer, Shraddha Jain? She is the comedian whose hilarious take on tech sector layoffs went viral on social media. The comedian is back with an update from her recent meeting with the United Kingdom's (UK) Finance Minister. Shraddha shared a picture with UK Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt on Instagram stories. The influencer, who is famous as 'Aiyyo' Shraddha online, met minister Jeremy Hunt in Bengaluru. While the two talked about UK and India's partnership, Shraddha pointed out that the discussion took over a very popular South Indian dish, masala dosa. She shared a picture with Hunt on Instagram Stories, and wrote: “Masala Dosa with Mr. Jeremy Hunt, Finance Minister, UK!! I could get used to this.” Take a look:
Finance minister Jeremy Hunt's office also shared a bunch of pictures of the duo posing for the lenses, having a conversation and of course relishing the desi meal. Ditching the croissant, sandwiches and coffee, Jeremy Hunt along with Shraddha was seen gobbling down the super delicious masala dosa. We could also spot two platters of vada and sambar along with chutneys on their table. Not to miss the two cups of tea, served in the tapri-style glass.
“Your questions for Chancellor Jeremy Hunt, asked by Indian influencer Aiyyo Shraddha. What are his views on UK / India partnerships? And will he struggle eating dosa?” read the caption of the post.
Well, let us tell you, Aiyyo Shraddha has promised that she will try “mashed potatoes and peas”. Replying to the post, she wrote, “Thank you Chancellor! I promise to try with just as much enthusiasm as you relished the Masale Dose!” For those who don't know, mashed potatoes and peas is a statement breakfast in the West.
Meanwhile, a user spoke on everyone's behalf when he asked, “Hope he managed to eat dosa?”
Re-sharing this post on Instagram Stories, Shraddha wrote: “And I know of many celebrities who did the Lungi dance but he actually has styled himself with a lungi.” Take a look:
