Ingredients of Ahmedabad-Style Ghughra Sandwich

  • 6 bread slices
  • 1 capsicum , chopped
  • 1 carrot , grated
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • coriander , finely chopped
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 3-4 medium-sized blocks of butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chutney

How to Make Ahmedabad-Style Ghughra Sandwich

In a bowl mix the chopped vegetables, green chilies, and coriander leaves. Add chaat masala, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well.
Apply butter and green chutney on the slices of bread.
Add the filling generously on the 2 bread slices and top it with grated mozzarella cheese.
Now align the 3 bread slices and make a sandwich.
In a pan add butter and toast the sandwich until the sides turn crispy and golden.
Serve it hot it ketchup.
