Ingredients of Baked Eggs with Sardines
- 3 hard boiled eggs-shelled 2 tbsp butter 250 gm tomatoes- skinned, deseeded and roughly chopped 1 tin sardines- flaked 2 tbsp chopped garden herbs 4 tbsp fresh breadcrumbs 3 eggs 200 ml cream 1 tsp prepared mustard salt and pepper
How to Make Baked Eggs with SardinesHideShow Media
First quarter the eggs.
Melt the butter and pour into a heatproof dish.
Then add tomatoes to the dish and sprinkle with sardines followed by herbs.
Now arrange egg quarters over the mixture and sprinkle lightly with breadcrumbs. Season.
Beat remaining eggs with cream, seasoning and mustard.
Pour over the hard-boiled eggs and bake at 190 degree c for about 20 minutes or until it has set.
