Baked Eggs with Sardines

Ingredients of Baked Eggs with Sardines

  • 3 hard boiled eggs-shelled 2 tbsp butter 250 gm tomatoes- skinned, deseeded and roughly chopped 1 tin sardines- flaked 2 tbsp chopped garden herbs 4 tbsp fresh breadcrumbs 3 eggs 200 ml cream 1 tsp prepared mustard salt and pepper

How to Make Baked Eggs with Sardines

  • 1.First quarter the eggs.

  • 2.Melt the butter and pour into a heatproof dish.

  • 3.Then add tomatoes to the dish and sprinkle with sardines followed by herbs.

  • 4.Now arrange egg quarters over the mixture and sprinkle lightly with breadcrumbs. Season.

  • 5.Beat remaining eggs with cream, seasoning and mustard.

  • 6.Pour over the hard-boiled eggs and bake at 190 degree c for about 20 minutes or until it has set.

  • 7.Serve hot.
