Ingredients of Beetroot Aloo Cutlet

  • 1 Cup Grated Beetroot
  • 4 medium Boiled Potatoes
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • A pinch of Chaat Masala

How to Make Beetroot Aloo Cutlet

Grate the beetroot and squeeze out all the excess water from it.

Then take a large bowl, add mashed potato along with squeezed out beetroot in the same bowl. Mix both of them properly.

Then add all the dry ingredients like salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala.

After adding all these, mash everything well by using a potato masher or by your hands. Now, the last step is to scoop out dough balls from the mixture.

Flatten them out in a form of tikkis, then shallow fry them on tawa with some ghee, you can also bake them.
6.
Serve with mint chutney or tomato ketchup and enjoy.
