How to Make Bhuna Paneer Roll
HideShow Media1.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
To Make The Paneer Filling:
1.
In a large bowl, add all the
dry spice powders, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil,
lime juice, both the salts and hung yogurt. Mix well.
Add the paneer and onion to the marinade and make
sure they are coated well.
2.
Switch on the grill in the oven, and thread the
marinated pieces of paneer on a skewer, alternating
with onions. Then, place the skewers on a baking tray
or balance the skewers on the edges of the baking
tray so that the paneer does not touch the surface of
the tray.
3.
Place the tray under the grill till the paneer
is charred. Use a fork to transfer the paneer from the
skewers into a bowl.
4.
Alternatively, you can also heat a thick-bottomed
pan, a griddle pan or a cast iron pan and place the
marinated pieces of paneer on it, making sure there
is space between each piece. Cook on high heat till
the paneer is charred. Then, using a flat spatula,
transfer them to a plate or a bowl.
5.
While the paneer is being grilled, prepare the chutney.
Add all the ingredients for the chutney to a blender
jar and blitz it up. Transfer to a bowl until required.
To Make The Roll:
1.
Heat a tawa and place a roti or
paratha on the pan and warm it roughly for a minute
on each side. Place the paratha on a plate, arrange
the pieces of paneer and onion in the centre and
drizzle with the green chutney.
2.
Fold to close it, and for the ease of eating, wrap the bottom half of the roll in foil.
3.
Enjoy!
