This one is a star recipe! Baked onions, stuffed with aromatic masala are served with a flavourful curry.

Ingredients of Bhuna Pyaaz

  • 5-6 onions
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp jeera powder
  • 4 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 8 tsp aamchur powder
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 4 tsp mustard oil
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 2 tsp paanch phoren
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 4-5 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt

How to Make Bhuna Pyaaz

  • 1.Make 5-6 Incisions in a peeled Onion.
  • 2.Stuff the incisions with a paste made of turmeric powder, jeera powder, dhaniya powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder, kasuri methi powder, black salt, salt and mustard oil.
  • 3.Now, bake these onions at 180℃ for 15 minutes.
  • 4.Heat oil and add dry red chillies, paanch phoren, chopped onions, garlic to a pan.
  • 5.Further add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cardamom powder, water, tomatoes, kasuri methi powder, salt, black pepper and allow it to cook.
  • 6.Once ready pour it between the baked onions and serve
