Ingredients of Bhutte Ka Shorba

  • 2 cups Corn
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 Medium Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Cloves
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
  • 3-4 Peppercorns
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 tbsp Carrot (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tsp Haldi

How to Make Bhutte Ka Shorba

To begin with the recipe, take a mixing bowl, add corn flour and milk. Mix them well until a smooth and consistent paste.

Once done, heat oil in a non-stick kadhai, add spices like cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns, bay leaf, onions and garlic. Sauté them well.

Now, add carrots, coriander seeds, haldi and mix. Cook this for at least 3 minutes on a low-medium flame. Keep stirring to avoid stickiness.

Add corn, salt to taste and water according to the consistency you like. Once cooled down, remove the bay leaf and cinnamon.

Blend the mixture in a mixer until smooth. Pour the blended mixture in a heated non-stick kadhai, add milk and conrflour mixture, and water.
6.
Cook for a few minutes. Add water if required. Serve hot!
