Ingredients of Congress Bun Masala

  • 1 Cup Split Peanuts
  • 4 Buns
  • 6-8 Curry Leaves
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 medium Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium Carrot (grated)
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves

How to Make Congress Bun Masala

In a pan heat some oil, add curry leaves, hing, haldi, red chilli powder, salt and mix once. Add peanuts and mix again.

Take peanuts off the heat and let it cool. Once cooled, mix with hands, slightly crush the peanuts.

Slit the buns in middle and toast with some butter.

Take the toasted bun; apply green chutney of your choice. Add peanut stuffing and top with slides onion, grated carrot and coriander leaves.
5.
Sandwich the buns and serve with hot tea in the evening.
