Tostada is a Spanish word which means 'toasted'. A crisp fried corn tortilla topped with a medley of mushrooms, herbs, chillies, coriander, avocado, salsa and sour cream from Depot 29 in New Delhi.

Ingredients of Corn and Mushroom Tostada

  • 1 sheet of corn tortilla
  • 50gm mixedbutton& Shiitakemushrooms
  • 5gm of thyme
  • 5 ml of olive oil
  • 20gm of corn
  • 10gm of green chili
  • 10gm of coriander
  • 10gm of onion
  • 5gm of garlic
  • 20gm of avocado
  • 1 portion of cheese dip
  • Sour cream and salsa for garnishing

How to Make Corn and Mushroom Tostada

1.Saute mushrooms and garlic in olive oil.
2.Add onion, thyme, green chili, coriander and mix together. Add salt to taste.
3.Roll and fry a tortilla sheet into a bowl like shape.
4.Put the above filling in this cup. Garnish with tomato salsa, avocado slices and sour cream.
5.Serve with a side of cheese dip.
