About Crêpe Suzette Recipe: Whip up this classic French dessert made with the eggs, flour, orange juice, butter and a hint of cinnamon. Crepes are very thin versions of pancakes that can be easily prepared for a quick breakfast.

Ingredients of Crepe Suzette

  • 200 gms orange juice
  • Lemon
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp fine sugar
  • 3 tbsp refined flour
  • 100 gms milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Cinnamon powder

How to Make Crepe Suzette

  • 1.Pour orange juice, lemon juice and a star anise in a pan and boil it.
  • 2.Reduce the heat and let the orange juice simmer. Add the 1 Tbsp fine sugar to it.
  • 3.Break eggs in a bowl, add flour, 1 Tbsp sugar and milk to it. Whisk it. This is the batter.
  • 4.In a pan heat some butter and wait till it melts. Add the butter to the batter above.
  • 5.Then keep it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes (till the batter prepares)
  • 6.Put butter in a pan and pour the batter into the pan and cook it until it turns light brown.
  • 7.Flip the crepe.
  • 8.Fold the crepe quarterly and spread butter on top. Pour reduced orange juice over the crepe and sprinkle some cinnamon powder.
