Garden fresh okra teamed with desi masalas and dahi for that creamy twist. Best served with boiled rice.

Ingredients of Dahi Wali Bhindi

  • 250 gm bhindi-halved lengthwise
  • 2 medium potatoes-cut into strips lengthwise
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 6-8 garlic cloves-ground to a paste
  • Oil for deep frying

How to Make Dahi Wali Bhindi

  • 1.Deep fry bhindi and potatoes till they turn golden brown.
  • 2.Remove from the pan and let the remaining oil soak on a paper.
  • 3.Mix the remaining ingredients with yogurt and cook in a kadahi for a minute.
  • 4.Add fried potatoes and bhindi, keep stirring until the masala is absorbed.
  • 5.Serve sprinkled with fresh chopped green coriander.
