This pickle is a perfect accompaniment with your meals during winters. Make it once and store it for weeks!

Ingredients of Gajar ka Achaar

  • 250 gm carrots
  • 3 Tbsp powdered mustard seeds
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup mustard oil

How to Make Gajar ka Achaar

  • 1.1. Peel the carrots, and cut them into 7cm/3" pieces, not too thin (about finger size, you can say).
  • 2.2. Mix all ingredients together, and put the mixture into a clean jar with a tight lid.
  • 3.3. Leave in the sun for about a week and shake the bottle once a day to mix well.
