About Ghugni Recipe: Light, mild and tasty white peas cooked with onions, tomato and spices.

Ingredients of Ghugni

  • 2 Cups white peas, soaked
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seed powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • to taste Salt

How to Make Ghugni

  • 1.Heat oil in a pan. Add onions, ginger and garlic. Saute.
  • 2.When onions get golden brown, add tomatoes, peas, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, water and salt. Cook till they are done.
  • 3.Garnish with onions and coriander.
