Ingredients of Idli tikka

  • 7-8 Idli
  • 2 Medium Cubed Capsicum
  • 2 Small Onion (cubed)
  • 1/2 Cup Hung curd
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Kasoori methi
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Mustard oil

How to Make Idli tikka

Take a large container and cut idlis in small places and put it inside the container.

Meanwhile, take another container and add curd along with all the spices mentioned in the ingredients list along with lemon juice and mustard oil.

Mix it well and then add idli pieces and keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Wash the skewer or take long toothpicks, put one piece idli followed by capsicum and onions and continue doing this until the skewer or pick gets filled.
5.
Heat a tawa and place the skewers on the tawa, drizzle a few drops of ghee or coconut oil on this. Cook for 5-6 minutes from both the sides.
6.
Serve it with mint chutney and onion rings.
