Ingredients of Kadhai Bhindi

  • 500 Gram Bhindi (Ladyfinger)
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 Large Onion (Chopped)
  • 1/2 Capsicum (Cubed)
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • Oil (as required)
  • (to garnish) Coriander Leaves

How to Make Kadhai Bhindi

To begin with the recipe, all you need to do is wash the bhindi and cut them into pieces. Once done, deep fry till all the stickiness is gone.

Now heat oil in a kadhai, add jeera, along with chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes. Once onions turn translucent, add tomato puree and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and let the mixture get cooked properly.

Once done, add all the dry spices and mix again. Now, add salt according to taste, mix and wait for 2-3 minutes.

Add cubes of capsicum along with fried bhindi, mix and cover for a minute or so.

Serve with chapati and enjoy the wholesome meal.
