Ingredients of Leftover Chicken Curry Biryani
- 1 Bowl Chicken Curry Or Butter Chicken
- 2 cups Rice
- 1 large Onion
- 1 large Tomato (Thinly Sliced)
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 4-5 Green Chillies (Slit)
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Haldi
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 4 Cloves
- 2 Green Cardamom
- 1 Black Cardamom
- 6-7 Black Pepper Corns
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 tbsp Oil
How to Make Leftover Chicken Curry Biryani

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cloves, black pepper, bay leaf, small and big cardamom and fry it. After this, cook the chopped onion in it till it becomes golden brown.

Add rice and mix in spices, add water as per requirement, cover the pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles. Your biryani is ready.
To Make In Handi:
1.
You have to first boil the rice up to 70 percent and cook it. Drain the rice. Heat oil in a handi on the gas, add cloves, black pepper, bay leaf, small and big cardamom and fry it. After this, cook the chopped onion in it till it becomes golden brown.

After the onion, add tomatoes and all the spices and fry it well. Add curd in it. Now add leftover chicken curry to it and mix it with spices.

Separate a little from this mixture, pour the remaining mixture in the handi in a single layer and apply half a layer of rice on top of it.
4.
Similarly set the rest of the mixture and cook it on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes, cover the lid of the handi.
5.
Your biryani is ready.
