Easy to make mint sauce goes well with roast or baked meat.

Ingredients of Mint Sauce

  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped mint leaves
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to Make Mint Sauce

  • 1.Heat the vinegar and sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring all the time.
  • 2.Heat till the sugar is dissolved, then bring it to a boil and add the mint leaves and immediately shut off the heat and add the salt.
  • 3.Your mint sauce is ready. This sauce keeps well if you pack it in a sterilised, screw top bottle while it is still quite hot.
