Green chillies crushed to get cooked with hot spices, milk and a little sugar. This traditional Rajasthani dish is dangerously fiery and certainly not for the faint hearted!

Ingredients of Mirchi ka Koota

  • 250 gm whole green chillies
  • 100 gm methi dana
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 gm turmeric powder
  • 20 gm amchoor powder
  • 50 gm oil
  • Asafoetida
  • 5 gm mustard seeds- crushed
  • 20 ml milk
  • 5 gm sugar

How to Make Mirchi ka Koota

  • 1.Crush whole green chillies along with its seeds.
  • 2.Boil methi dana and keep aside.
  • 3.Heat oil in a kadahi and add asafoetida.
  • 4.Then add green chillies along with rest of the masalas, milk and sugar.
  • 5.Now add boiled methi dana and cook for a while.
  • 6.Ready to serve!
