A flavourful and aromatic mutton curry made with a blend of masalas, ginger, onions, lemon and yogurt. The use of ginger gives this mutton curry a unique and earthy flavour. It is easy to make and tastes best when served with hot naan.

Ingredients of Mutton Ginger

  • 1/2 Kg Mutton
  • 2 Lemon
  • 2 Onion (chopped)
  • 10 Green chilli (chopped)
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1/2 tbsp Black pepper (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (chopped)
  • to taste Salt

How to Make Mutton Ginger

Fry onion and ginger in oil till it turns golden brown.

Now add mutton, salt, ginger garlic paste and turmeric and cook.

Once the meat water dries out, add lukewarm water and cook till meat becomes tender.

Add yogurt and sauté it.

When oil forms a separate layer, put crushed black pepper, chopped green chillies, ginger and lemon juice and cook it on low flame for 10 minutes.
6.
Serve it with hot naan.
