Ingredients of Pizza Panne

  • 450 gm refined flour + for dusting
  • 5 gm yeast
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt + to taste
  • 5 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 fresh rosemary sprig
  • 1 large pinch chopped garlic

How to Make Pizza Panne

  • 1.Preheat oven at 180°C.
  • 2.Place a silicon sheet on a baking tray.
  • 3.Dissolve yeast and 1 1/2 tbsp sugar in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
  • 4.Combine 1/2 tsp salt and refined flour in a dough maker.
  • 5.Add dissolved yeast mixture and knead into a soft dough using 3 1/2 tbsp olive oil and sufficient water.
  • 6.Remove the dough from the maker and set aside for about 20 minutes.
  • 7.Dust the worktop with little flour and spread the dough with your fingers.
  • 8.Roll out into a large thin disc dusting with flour.
  • 9.Spread the remaining olive oil on it.
  • 10.Add torn fresh rosemary and chopped garlic on top and rub them well.
  • 11.Cut the disc into long triangles and place them on the baking tray.
  • 12.Put tray in preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • 13.Remove from heat and serve immediately.
