How to make Pithi Puri
Dough stuffed with a yummy dal mixture. Deep fried till golden and puffy. Serve with aloo ki sabzi.

Ingredients of Pithi Puri
- Dough:
- 1 kg flour
- 100 gm semolina
- Water, to knead dough
- Pitthi:
- 1/2 kg black gram dal
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp red chilli powder
- 3 Tbsp ajwain
- 3 Tbsp fennel
- 1/2 kg semolina
- Oil
How to Make Pithi Puri
HideShow MediaFor the dough:

Mix flour semolina and water together to make a dough. The dough is ready.
For the pitthi:
1.
Soak black gram dal in water and keep it overnight.
2.
Now grind the dal and add salt, red chilli powder, bishops weed, fennel and semolina.
3.
Mix well. Pitthi is ready.
For the main preparation:
1.
Make a palm sized ball from the dough.
2.
Flatten it and add a small piece of pitthi in the center.
3.
Now enclose the pitthi around the dough.
4.
Roll and deep fry. Puri is ready to eat.
5.
Serve hot with aloo ki aabzi.
