Ingredients of Roti Mc Puff

  • 3-4 leftover rotis (For wrapping)
  • 1 onion , chopped
  • 1 tomato , chopped
  • 1 capsicum , chopped
  • 1 carrot , chopped
  • Half cup boiled and chopped peas
  • 3-4 tbsp grated paneer
  • 3-4 tbsp boiled corn
  • 3-4 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 3-4 tbsp tomato ketchup and pasta sauce
  • 4-5 tbsp cheese spread
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Half cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp maida (refined flour)
  • Oil for frying
  • Water
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Roti Mc Puff

Let’s begin with making the filling. In a pan add 2 spoons of oil and stir fry the vegetables. Start with garlic, onion, tomatoes and then add paneer and other vegetables mentioned in the ingredients.
Sprinkle the oregano, red chili flakes/powder, black pepper powder and salt on it.
Mix and let if cook for 10 minutes until vegetables are cooked. Once done, keep it aside to cool.
Now place the leftover roti, generously apply tomato sauce and cheese spread on it.
Add the cooked vegetable filling on it, add mozzarella cheese and semi-fold the roti, making a D shape.
Now cut the edges of the roti with the help of a knife or pizza cutter. Make sure it looks rectangle in shape.
Make a paste of maida and water. Apply that inside the edges of roti and press it properly to seal the ends.
Once done, deep fry them in oil until golden brown.
Take them out and serve with hot with tomato ketchup.
