A curry of kebabs, tomatos puree and masala makes a substantial main dish.

Ingredients of Seekh Kebab Masala

  • 750 gm seekh kabab (chicken or meat)
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup onion-sliced
  • 1 cup tomato - finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
  • 1 Tbsp cream
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

How to Make Seekh Kebab Masala

  • 1.Heat oil in a thick bottom pan.
  • 2.Fry onions till they turn golden brown.
  • 3.Add ginger & garlic paste and let them fry till the oil separates.
  • 4.Add crushed dried fenugreek leaves.
  • 5.Add all the masala powders to it, and then add the chopped tomatoes & the tomato puree.
  • 6.Add salt to taste and then add little warm water.
  • 7.Finally add the kababs, and let the gravy come to a boil.
  • 8.Let it cook for another 3-4 mins or till the sauce gets thick.
  • 9.Serve garnished with the coriander leaves, and the cream (optional).
