Ingredients of Sindhi Dal Kadhi
- 1/2 Cup toor dal, soaked
- 8-9 bowl bhindi, cut into two pieces
- Half bowl peas
- 8-9 cluster beans, cut into two pieces
- 2 drum sticks, cut into small pieces
- Two-three tbsp besan
- 1 tomato, pureed
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1.5 tsp grated ginger
- 10 curry leaves
- A pinch haldi powder
- A pinch hing
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1-2 tsp kokum or tamarind paste
- Freshly chopped coriander, to garnish
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, as needed

Boil the dal with some salt and haldi powder.
Heat oil in kadhai and add jeera and hing to it. Let it splutter.
Add besan to it and fry on low flame.
To it, add all the spices and tomato puree and cook until the mix leaves oil.
Add the boiled dal to it with the vegetables. Boil everything together.
When the dish is almost cooked, lower the flame, add the tamarind or kokum paste and mix.
Adjust the salt, switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice.
