Fish fillets smeared with tomato chutney, wrapped in banana leaf and steamed perfect.

Ingredients of Steamed Fish

  • 1 kg fish
  • 1 small bowl of homemade tomato chutney
  • Banana leafs

How to Make Steamed Fish

  • 1.Slice the fish into fillets. put tomato chutney on it and wrap it with a banana leaf.
  • 2.Then fill the bottom part of the steaming pot with water, and then bring the pot to a boil.
  • 3.A steaming pot consists of two pots; the bottom pot creates the steam from the boiling water while the top pot holds the fish and steams it.
  • 4.Place the fish into the top pot, once the water has come to a boil.
  • 5.Cook the fish evenly by putting the fish fillets in a single layer.
  • 6.And your guilt free steamed fish is ready to eat.
