Ingredients of Vatana Nu Shaak

  • 1 Cup peas
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 2-3 Tbsp coriander leaves
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • To taste salt
  • To taste red chilli powder

How to Make Vatana Nu Shaak

  • 1.Grind coriander leaves, green chillies and ginger to make green paste.
  • 2.Heat oil in a pan, add hing, cumin seeds and mustard seeds and wait till they sizzle.
  • 3.Add green paste and mix well.
  • 4.Add peas, salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
  • 5.Add some water and let the peas cook. Serve hot.
