Ingredients of Vatana Nu Shaak

  • 1 Cup peas
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 2-3 Tbsp coriander leaves
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • To taste salt
  • To taste red chilli powder

How to Make Vatana Nu Shaak

Grind coriander leaves, green chillies and ginger to make green paste.

Heat oil in a pan, add hing, cumin seeds and mustard seeds and wait till they sizzle.

Add green paste and mix well.

Add peas, salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.

Add some water and let the peas cook. Serve hot.
