Veg Keema matar is a delicious dinner party dish that you can easily prepare at home with easily accessible ingredients at home and in not more than an hour. Pair this with steamed rice or roti for a wholesome meal.

Ingredients of Veg Keema

  • 7-8 Cauliflower florets
  • 7-8 French Beans (Finnely chopped)
  • 7-8 Mushrooms (chopped finely)
  • Medium Carrot (chopped)
  • 1/3 Cup Green peas (boiled)
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1 Medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 Chopped Green chilli
  • 2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Black Cardamom
  • 1 Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 Tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 and a half Cup Water
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Veg Keema

Heat oil in a pan. Add whole garam masala spices - black cardamom & cinnamon.

Add chopped onion. Fry till light brown. Add the ginger garlic paste.

Then add tomatoes and all the spice powders. Fry the whole mixture till the oil separates.

Add all the veggies except boiled green peas. Add water and salt.
5.
Cover and cook till all veggies are cooked well.
6.
The mixture should become dry and there should be no moisture.

Now add the green peas and stir. Check the seasonings.
8.
Serve veg kheema hot garnished with coriander leaves with some rotis, phulkas, naan or bread.
