About Vegetable Frankfurter Recipe: A vegetable sausage like snack, perfect for tea-time during the monsoons! Vegetable Frankfurter is made from mashed potato along with other chopped veggies mixed with spices and rolled in cheese and breadcrumbs and deep fried till golden brown.

Ingredients of Vegetable Frankfurter

  • 100 Potato mash
  • 100 Red pumpkin mash
  • 100 Cheddar cheese strips
  • 10 Garlic, chopped
  • 100 Red onion, chopped
  • 200 Gram Carrots, baby corn, mushrooms, asparagus, chopped
  • A pinch of Nutmeg, grated
  • A pinch of Paprika powder, grated
  • A pinch of Black pepper (crushed)
  • To taste Salt
  • 150 Gram Bread crumb
  • 30 Gram Corn flour
  • 30 Gram Refined flour
  • To deep fry Oil

How to Make Vegetable Frankfurter

  • 1.Heat the oil, sauté garlic, onion till it turns light brown in color.
  • 2.Add all chopped vegetables and cook for another few minutes, season it.
  • 3.Let it cool, mix it with mashed potato, pumpkin and nutmeg. Mix well.
  • 4.Take one strip of cheese and roll with the mixture.
  • 5.Shape in to sausages of about 10 cm. .
  • 6.Dip in to the batter made by corn flour, refined flour and water.
  • 7.Now roll them in the breadcrumbs. Deep fry in the oil till golden brown. Serve hot.
