If good food and cocktails are your thing, read on! This one's for all the foodies and cocktail lovers out there. Firstly opened at Aerocity, later in punjabi bagh and civil lines, one8 commune is making people go gaga over its delectable food and cocktails offerings. Its recently launched new menu is as quirky as it can get. The menu boasts of an exquisite selection of Indian and international recipes infused with a host of flavours. Apart from the new menu, one8 Commune also brings a childhood favorite and a grown-up's classic choice together as Sorbet Sangria fest in which they are serving a unique combination of signature wines poured over fruitty sorbets with a hint of luscious infusions and flavors curated by our brand mixologist Neeraj Sharma. Yes, you read that right!
We started off our meal with chicken wontons and asparagus tempura sushi. Chicken wontons were perfectly steamed, filled with juicy chicken and laden in spicy sauce. While sushi had a crunchy texture along with a burst of flavours. Both of these new entrants are sure to tantalize your taste palate. While talking about the presentation, it was top-notch! Look at the image below.
After finishing these dishes, we stuck to the classics at that place- Virat Kohli's favourite tofu tacos and Soya boti tikka. Both of these dishes caught our fancy from their vegetarian section. Soya boti tikka had a smoky and barbecued flavour that impressed us on so many levels.
Along with these delicacies, we ordered sangria from their sorbet sangria fest menu. We had Berry Boss, serving Shiraz with the blast of berry flavoured sorbet and a hint of cool watermelon. You can also try other sangrias like green sunset, sunburst, mango sizzle and more..
We ended our meal with a super decadent and indulging red velvet cake (from their new menu). You can also try dark double chocolate cake.
