The brainchild of Manu Garg, the eatery seeks to satiate the taste buds of those looking to experience authentic cuisine from the comfort of their homes. After completing his engineering from DCE and MBA from IIM Lucknow, Manu worked as an investment banker in Mumbai for 4 years. His passion for Food and Entrepreneurship brought him back to his roots- food.
D'OLIVA brings to you an array of Pizzas from around the world such as Neapolitan inspired Artisanal style and crisp New York style pies, and for the first time ever to India, the Detroit Style pizza.
A very uniquely prepared and baked Pizza, the Detroit style is extremely popular in the west and now being introduced for the first time in India by D'OLIVA. Using a high-hydration dough gives the bread a tender-yet-chewy, extra-crisp crust. The Pizza is traditionally topped with homemade Pizza sauce on the top rather than at the crust, and spreads oodles of cheese all the way to the edges of the pizza pan, lets it melt into the edges and forms a crisp, browned crust transporting you to a heavenly Pizza paradise
Some signature dishes at D'OLIVA include the Classic Caesar Salad, the crunchy Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers, succulent Sicilian Style Sandwiches, a melt in the mouth Wild Mushroom Burger, the crusty Diavola Pizza, a flavor-packed Detroit Style Pizza, silken Hand Rolled Pasta and more. Sure to satiate the sweet tooth, decadent desserts in the menu include a tempting Panna Cotta with Red Wine and Pomegranate Couile, a silken smooth Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake amongst others.
The bistro uses handpicked quality cheeses, meats, herbs and oils from specialised provinces of Italy. Their wood fire brick is developed by an Italian Masterchef and all sauces, breads and sides are prepared from scratch in the kitchen. With over 15 years of experience, the head chef at the restaurant, Chef Pradeep Singh has formerly worked at Maurya's Sheraton and the Tres, while also being instrumental in launching various other Italian restaurants in Delhi.
This Delivery only restaurant is operational in Delhi all days of the week between 12 noon to 12 midnight, with an affordable price range of INR 1200- INR 1500 for a meal for two.
