3. Besan Ka Cheela
A favourite in most North Indian homes, besan ka cheela needs very few ingredients and is super quick and easy to make. Here's how you can prepare cheela quickly:
Step 1. In a bowl, take 1 cup besan and add 1/3rd cup of water to it. Increase or decrease the amount of water to get the right consistency.
Step 3. Add 1 teaspoon jeera, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped chilli, 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger paste and salt as per taste and mix well.
Step 4. Heat about 1 teaspoon of oil/ghee on a non-stick pan and spread it evenly.
Step 5. Take a large tablespoon of the besan batter and pour it in the middle of the pan. Now, with the backside of the tablespoon, spread the batter in a circular motion all over the pan.
Step 6. Cook both the sides ok the cheela. Repeat the steps to make other cheelas with the remaining batter.
