After celebrating Janmashtami, we all are set to ring in the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, which commences on 22nd August, 2020, and would end on 1st September, 2020, with Ganesh Visarjan. As per Hindu mythology, Lord Ganesha is the God of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune, and is thus, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with much fervour. The ten-day festival is marked by installing beautiful, colourful idols of Ganesha at homes, temples and offices, followed by aarti and bhog.
