This recipe for homemade biscoff spread was shared on an Instagram page that goes by the handle @aathirasethumadhavan. It is healthier than the regular version and will be ready in just 20 minutes. To begin with, boil the water with dry ginger, a few sticks of cinnamon, and a piece of nutmeg until the water reduces to half. Once done, pour this over the pitted dates with a pinch of baking soda. Let this steep for about 10 to 15 minutes. Next, blend the dry-roasted and cooled nuts on high speed in intervals of 20-30 seconds each. You'll need to keep brushing it down, as it'll stick to the sides of the jar. Once it releases the oil and becomes a smooth nut butter, add in the vanilla extract and the dates along with the water. Blend until smooth, and pour into an airtight container. Your homemade biscoff spread is ready to be savoured!
