'I love lauki', says no one. Lauki (or bottle gourd or ghia) is a staple food that is cooked almost every week in Indian households; yet it fails to win our hearts that way other foods like rajma or dal makhani do. But, why are we still served lauki ki sabzi every other day? Because, it is one of the healthiest foods around. It is known to build immunity of the body to protect it from illnesses; and due to its low calorific profile, it is considered great for weight loss diet. With these and more such health benefits this vegetable offers, it is highly recommended to consume lauki as often as possible.
Alright, so this convinces us enough to consider eating it but how do we ignore its rather bland taste and start liking it? This recipe video solves the problem. If you tried and tried but could not get yourself to like the usual lauki ki sabzi made at home, this masaledar version of lauki will change the game altogether.
Masala lauki ki sabzi recipe will infuse a melange of flavours into lauki and will make the dish that you are sure to love. Lauki is cooked with cumin seeds, asafoetida, fenugreek seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric, ginger and green chili.
