The Hanami (or Cherry Blossom viewing) is quite a thing in Tokyo
Even though the chances of finding a blooming Cherry Blossom tree in Delhi are slim, Chef Vikram Khatri & Saurabh Sharan of Delhi's Guppy are keeping the soul of Hanami intact with a delightful menu specially created to enjoy the season's best.
Guppy's #HowToHanami festival is on now for a very limited time with a Hanami-inspired menu that will be served through the month of May.
The menu is really well put-together and offers a mix of Guppy's classic dishes along with a few new dishes created for this festival.

A flavourful appetiser can make or break the entire dining experience. At Guppy's #HowToHanami festival, the appetisers serve as the perfect first course for the riot of flavours that follow. Our top picks include: Pork Shumai (steamed pork dumplings), Tuna Tataki (thin slices of tuna served with braised onions and served with a ponzu dressing) and Hiyayako Chilled Tofu (silken tofu with citrus soy and sesame).

Kale Goma-aeThe Rice & Ramen bowls - very, very trendy at the moment - can be your go-to main course if you are feeling stuffed already! The Sudori Chicken Rice Bowl and the Hiyashi Tanuki Soba are definitely worth going back for.

Tanuki Soba
As Guppy takes on a Hanami hue this month, go try the extended menu over some great cocktails by their resident mixologist Nishant. One the best things about Japanese food is that it doesn't sit heavy in your tummy and so there's lots you can try and experiment with. That's what we did - and were simply bowled over by the fresh, clean flavours and the huge variety on offer.
