The summers are here and how! Humidity and excessive sweating flushes out fluids from our body, leaving us dehydrated and in extreme cases, sick. With a variety of fruits and vegetables available in the market in this season, you can come up with a myriad of concoctions to cool off in this sultry weather. So, here is a great recipe of a super refreshing drink made with kiwi and bananas, with added mint to bring in freshness.
Kiwi Banana Mint Drink -
Ingredients -
1 kiwi
1 banana
A bunch of mint leaves
Half glass water
Half tablespoon honey
Mixed seeds (sunflower, chia, pumpkin, flax etc.)
How To Make It -
Step 1 - Peel kiwi and banana and chop them into small pieces.
Step 2 - Wash and muddle mint leaves. You can also use pre-dried mint leaves instead of fresh mint leaves. Dried mint leaves lend a subtle texture of crunchiness.
Step 3 - Put the fruits in blender. Add mint leaves and honey.
Step 4 - Crush the seeds with a rolling pin and add in the blender jar.
Step 5 - Top it up with water and blend thoroughly.
Step 6 - Add ice or chill it in the refrigerator and serve.
