Step-By-Step Amla Ki Sabzi Recipe:
'250 gms amla
2-3 green chillies
A pinch of asafoetida (Hing)
Half tsp cumin Seeds
Half tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garlic, crushed
1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf), crushed
1 tsp coriander seeds, crushed
2 tsp jaggery, crushed
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder to taste
Step 1 - Heat oil in a pan. Add asafoetida. When it starts to crackle, add cumin seeds.
Step 2 - When cumin seeds change colour, add green chillies and garlic. Add amla and saute it for 2 minutes.
Step 3 - Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel and powder. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 4 - Add jaggery and some water. Cover the pan and let everything cook for about 5 minutes.
Garnish this sweet and sour amla sabzi with some coriander leaves and serve with your Indian meal.
