Mix four drops of clove oil with salt and apply it on your forehead and you would feel instant relief from any discomfort, enabling you to sleep better. You can also apply some warm clove oil along with sesame oil on the forehead, right before bedtime and have a sound sleep.

Cloves are an integral part of every Indian kitchen cabinet; they have shared a prominent place in Ayurveda and ancient Chinese medicine. The pungent herb is known to treat nausea, digestive disorders and flu. While clove is essentially a winter spice and the shelf life of the herb is long, you can store the herb all through the year and make yourself some clove oil at home itself.

Now, add this powder to a cup of water. Allow it to boil for 5-10 minutes. Strain it and drink. You can add a teaspoon of honey to the tea too. Make sure you add honey after you are done boiling. It is a good idea to keep a window of one, one and a half hour between drinking this tea and your bedtime.
