Spicy Ghee Mix Recipe I How To Make Spicy Ghee Mix For Winter Immunity:
Ingredients:
Ghee – 2 tsp
Black pepper – 1 pinch
Kesar strands – 2 to 3
Saunf – ½ tsp
Elaichi - 1
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
What's the recipe?
Mix black pepper, cardamom, saunf, kesar strands and turmeric with ghee. Store it in an air-tight container. Have 1 to 2 tablespoons every day.
Here are some points the health coach mentioned about ghee in the caption:
1) You can have ghee on its own or with milk or food.
2) If you have a cold, consume ghee with warm milk. This will help you, especially, in this season when your body is more prone to cold, cough or seasonal flu.
3) He also stated that the best time to have the ghee mix is in the morning or between meals.
In the caption, he wrote, “Poor digestion can be because of poor eating habits, processed food, a diet with fewer vegetables or fruit, less fibre, too much sugar, poor sleep, less water etc. Ghee is also known as liquid gold and has a ton of benefits. It's great for joint health, improves digestion, is anti-inflammatory, improves good cholesterol, improves skin and hair health etc.”
Each and every ingredient in the recipe has some or the other set of health benefits. Pepper improves the absorption of the antioxidants present in turmeric. It is also great for immunity and digestion. Turmeric, available in every Indian household, is an amazing anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral spice. It improves brain function and supports joint health. Everyone knows that fennel seeds (saunf) help when you have bloating or digestive issues. Cardamom improves digestion, and oral health, and facilitates sleep. Whereas, kesar is a powerful antioxidant.
On a concluding note, Digvijay mentioned that you can skip the ingredients or tweak the recipe if you are allergic to something.
