Fusion recipes do not take long to capture the attention of foodies around the world. While some combinations result in a nutritious diet, many are simply bizarre experiments. One such dish that went viral on social media is a plate of Mango Biryani. On Instagram, Aadi Shakthi Prasad, a Karnataka-based food and travel vlogger, documented his latest indulgence into a plate full of the fusion dish, leaving foodies fuming.
At the beginning of the clip, he says, “I literally ate Mango Biryani, man. When I saw it, I was initially taken aback. I thought, ‘What is this mango biryani even, dude?' But then seeing it, I decided to give it a try. I handed over my token in front of the crowd. And as soon as I said, ‘One plate please, man. They served me a plate of layered rice with a green-coloured mango masala topped with a generous portion of a well-cooked and juicy mango piece gravy.”
As he digs into the plate, the food blogger continues, “You can see the pieces are incredibly tender. Each one was almost melting. The rice was perfectly balanced with no lack of flavour. I couldn't resist and dug into that piece. What a taste, man. It's tanginess transports you to another dimension.”
The mango biryani is found at The Shallot Biryani, a food stall buzzing near the national college flyovers in Bengaluru. However, the blogger reveals that they have shifted to Kim's Hospital, but despite this, the craze is still there due to its upgraded taste has.
“Wait What. I literally ate Mango Biryani & the taste was way different,” read his note.
In the same caption, he also mentioned the latest location of the food stall in Bengaluru - The Shallot Biryani Foo Truck, besides KIMS Hospital on the way towards National College Metro.

Glimpses of the mango biryani food stall in Bengaluru went viral on social media, leaving foodies divided with their strong reactions.
A user said, “The amount of bites you have picked up says the flavour is a must try.”
Someone added, “Definitely worthy.”
Echoing the same emotion, some comments read, “wow”, “mast biryani”, “must try”.
Another person mentioned that instead of biryani, this is called “chitranna”, also known as Lemon rice, is a rice-based dish widely prepared in South India.
A few others revealed that the fusion recipe is nothing but “Mango Pulp with Biryani Rice”, while a person called it anything but not biryani.
Meanwhile, a biryani lover commented, “Just because something exists doesn't mean it should be eaten.”
Someone cried, “Why bro, why?”
“Man this level of crime is unacceptable,” added a person.
One more social media user mentioned, “This is attempt to murder,” highlighting the rich flavours of biryani which all went in waste due to the fusion.
“Things that we don't need,” declared a foodie.
A person mockingly recommended, “Avocado biryani next please,” another mentioned, “Try Banana biryani too.”
While a user mentioned, “I puked in my head,” a biryani lover couldn't stop showing his anger to the recipe. He wrote, “Some people file a PIL against this. This needs to be stopped.”
