Recently, a viral post about an unusual catering decision has taken X by storm. An X user named Susmita (@shhuushhh_) shared a picture featuring a Swiggy food delivery agent in one corner. The photo seemed to be taken inside a tent set up for a special event. On one long table, stacks of sealed black boxes holding food were visible. Cold drink bottles were kept nearby and water bottles were seen on another nearby table. The X user captioned the photo, "They ordered food online for an engagement ceremony?? Bhai I have seen everything."

Swiggy has revealed that a Delhi couple had chosen to make this unconventional decision. It has also responded to the viral post on X, stating, "No one has used our Crazy Deals better than these guys. Shaadi ka khana bhi humse mangwa lena. ["Order the wedding food from us too"]."

The original X post has received over 215K views so far. Users were quite amused by the idea and shared funny comments in reply. Several jokes were about the reactions of halwais and regular caterers to Swiggy replacing them. A few made jokes about other examples of "jugaad" that the couple may have done. For instance, one user joked that they would have booked transport for themselves via Ola/Uber. Another claimed that such an engagement ceremony is very "Gen-Z" in style.
