Getting the quantity right when cooking meals at home can be quite a task. Sometimes, the dish we cook may be greater in quantity than what is needed for one meal for the family. We then proceed to store our leftovers to be eaten the next day or for use in other dishes. So, how exactly should be the ideal way to store our leftovers in the refrigerator? Some people prefer to keep it in microwave-safe bowls while others use airtight boxes for the same. But we can all agree that the most complicated problems have the simplest solutions! Recently, a Twitter user shared a simple solution for storing leftover food in the fridge, and it will leave you amused. Take a look:

The tweet was shared by user @rakshitbaveja, and it has created a buzz on the internet garnering over 7.9k likes and hundreds of comments and retweets. In the post, the user revealed that he had asked his flatmate to store the leftover dal and rice in the refrigerator. Much to his surprise, he saw that the flatmate had kept the entire pressure cooker and pan directly in the fridge. "Asked my flatmate to keep leftover dal and rice in the fridge. Woke up to this," laughed the Twitter user in the caption.
A number of Twitter users reacted to the viral tweet about storing leftovers in the fridge. Many people did not see the problem with storing the pressure cooker directly in the fridge. "It's alarming that I see nothing wrong with this," wrote one user in response to the tweet. A few others thought that the idea was quite creative and saved the time and effort of washing extra utensils. "You may not like it, but this is what peak performance (efficiency) looks like," said one user.
